Design Dehumidifier Box

A dehumidifier box is a small, containerized moisture absorber for closed residential and commercial spaces. It usually consists of a plastic housing unit filled with high-capacity desiccant crystals (i.e. calcium chloride) that absorbs humidity from the surrounding air, converting it into liquid brine to be captured in a sealed bottom reservoir. They are usually freestanding, allowing them to be placed in closets, basements, bathrooms or underneath sinks to prevent mold, mildew, or mustiness. The dehumidifier box works best in damp-area spaces less than 30m³ – it has visible saturation indicators, and some come with disposable/replaceable refill cartridges, allowing low-maintenance usage.
